3 - Days Basic Workshop will give you the possibility to produce your own 2-3 minutes digital story and share it with other young people.
5 - Days Train The Trainer Course will invite young people who wish to become facilitators and trainers in the method, and use it in future projects and activities.
What is Digital Stirytelling?
“Digital Storytelling” is a workshop-based practice in which people are taught to use personal and digital media to create personal short 2-3 minutes audio-video stories, usually about their own lives. The idea is that this puts the universal human delight in narrative and selfexpression into the hands of everyone.” - Digital Storylab
The digital stories, which young jordanians will produce during this project will be screened at the annual Hakaya Storytelling Festival in Amman in September 2015.
Furthermore partners and participants are invited to participate in a conference at in Copenhagen later in the fall of 2015 to share their storytelling practice and knowledge from Jordan.
On 24th November 2015 there will be a danish seminar where 3 young people from Jordan will present their stories at The Dome of Visons in Copenhagen.
"Challenge My Story" is a project that empower young people by using storytelling and new media.
Young people will create and produce digital stories which will be shared in order for their voices to be heard.
