"Challenge My Story" is a collaborative project between a Danish organisation, Jordanian organisations and young people from Jordan with a story to tell!
Our story and mission
The project started in 2014, where the danish organisation Digital Storylab - Copenhagen Center For Digital Storytelling - went to Amman to look for partners for a collaborative digital storytelling project.
The trip was a success. This year Digital StoryLab will organise workshops and trainings in Digital Storytelling with partners in Jordan to empower young people through personal storytelling and open-source digital media.
What is Digital Stirytelling?
“Digital Storytelling” is a workshop-based practice in which people are taught to use personal and digital media to create personal short 2-3 minutes audio-video stories, usually about their own lives. The idea is that this puts the universal human delight in narrative and selfexpression into the hands of everyone.” - Digital Storylab
Volunteers & Trainers
"Challenge My Story" is about YOU! It's about your story and your right to tell your own personal story. In 2015 and 2016 young people in Jordan will get the posibility to become digital storytellers and be empowered through workshops and training courses in digital storytelling.
